We have 176 acres of prime Wildfowling marsh on the River Crouch in Essex with good numbers of visiting wildfowl.
We have available, morning and evening flights for some of the best wild duck available on the Crouch. We can also arrange for you to spend all day out on the marsh, taking a more relaxed approach and enjoying a full day as duck do tend to move up and down the river throughout.
A single gun or teams of up to ten people can be accommodated, and we can supply guides for less experienced guns. We have a good number of permanent built hides and we have built bridges across the deeper gullies so getting around the marsh is fairly easy.
We require all guns to hold a valid shotgun license and be registered members of BASC, or hold an equivalent insurance policy (written proof will be required). You will also be required to attend a short Pre-shoot talk before going out onto the Marsh.
Regular visiters to the marsh include:-
Mallard, Teal, Widgeon and Pintail being the most common ducks
we also get Greylag, Canadian Geese, Common Snipe and Golden Plover.
Please remember all ducks and geese are truly wild, we cannot determin numbers or direction of birds as this is all down to mother nature and weather conditions.
